Late Fall through Spring is a great time to catch trophy trout on the Southernmost trout fishery in the United States, the Guadalupe River which flows through the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The rest of the year we focus on warm water species such as largemouth, smallmouth, and Guadalupe bass including perch, carp, and gar on various clear, spring-fed rivers throughout Texas.

We choose our rivers based on 3 criteria: great fishing, natural beauty, and seclusion to create a true wilderness trip while providing all the comforts necessary for our clients to fully enjoy their time on the water.

Fly Fishing Texas rivers is best out of a raft. We use 14’ rafts that comfortably fit up to 2 clients. We provide all gear needed for the trip for no additional cost. All clients are responsible for is a fishing license.

FLY FISHING LESSONS
Whether wanting to learn how to catch trout, bass, or saltwater species on a fly rod, Get Outside Expedition Company can get you prepared with our 2 hour on the water casting/fly fishing lesson. The lesson focuses on teaching various types of casts (over hand, roll, double haul), reading water, knots, fly selection, and the ways to fish for different species of fish.
2 HOUR LESSON
$200 2 hours
One or two people and $50 for each additional person.
